Instructions for BIGFILE Upload
If you are a non-BCM (Baylor College of Medicine) person needing to upload a big file (i.e., larger than 2 MB) to someone within the Department of Neurology, you will need to do the following:
- Click here or on the image below. A new window will appear.
- Type in your name.
- Type in your email address.
- Type in the email account of the BCM person.
- Type in any additional comments, if needed.
- Click the Continue button.
If you need to upload only one file...
- Simply click on the Browse button and locate the file on your computer.
- Then click the Upload button.
- You will receive an email confirmation from BigFile_Upload@bcm.tmc.edu informing you that your file has uploaded successfully and available for up to 30 days.
- Please forward this email confirmation to your intended recipient within the Department of Neurology.
If you need to upload multiple files... (for example, 3 files)
- Click the # button first.
- Then simply click on the Browse button for each file you wish to upload.
- Then click the Upload button.
- You will receive an email confirmation from BigFile_Upload@bcm.tmc.edu informing you that your file has uploaded successfully and available for up to 30 days.
- Please forward this email confirmation to your intended recipient within the Department of Neurology.
RECOMMENDATION...
If you are intending to upload multiple files, it may be more efficient to first place all the desired files in a zipped folder and then upload that single "zipped file".
